The Lexus LF-A can be availed of on lease

Well, here is some good news for those who were lamenting the unavailability of the Lexus LF-A sports car. A few of the Lexus LF-A which has been declared as sold out, are yet available and up for lease. However the exact number of units still up for grabs is unknown given the fact that it is only available in the US and that the US had received a total of 150 units.

The lease for the LF-A is a 24 month non-transferable one with the additional option of purchase at lease end. Toyota had announced that their orders had exceeded car unit availability and also that they were in the know that many customers with interest would not get the opportunity to place their order. That they have now made amends is evident in what the company had to say. “As a result of additional allocation being dedicated to the U.S. market, some production spots still remain for the LF-A supercar’s 500-unit global build. Prospective buyers may register their inquiries directly with any Lexus dealer or call (866) LFA-4794 or (866) 532-4794,” is what company sources revealed.

Lexus had last year itself planned to lease out some of their LF-As. The current and ongoing dappled economic scenario had Lexus procrastinate on a large scale availability of the LF-A especially given its hefty price tag. However the market has proved them wrong with a big demand for this luxury supercar such that Lexus has fallen short by number of available units. Probability of the lease being offered once with an outright purchase of the car at the end of the lease is high.
