Modification leading to hybrid versions of cars is a plenty and many of them quite astounding in their end result. There is the Acura/Honda NSX which has been tuned to turn into a Ferrari 360 look alike which may be overlooked. But there is no logic or reason that can be found for swapping the 214 HP 3.0 liter V8 engine of the Ferrari308 GTSi with the 140 HP 2.8 liter V6 unit from the Pontiac Fiero’s Chevrolet.
If the point is the low price for the GM engine as well as less of maintenance requirement then the Ferrari should not be the choice of car against such desires.
